Young Professionals Program

Young Professionals Program

The Young Professionals Program (YPP) is an initiative that aims to provide opportunities to talented, highly qualified professionals to explore a career change into the social and international development sector, as well as to improve the geographical representation, promote gender parity and professional skills enhancement in the organization at international level.

Key features of the program

Professional Experience YPs are full-time employees, making significant contributions to their respective unit’s work program, while building networks and knowledge across our Organization. They often join field missions, where they work on the frontlines of Educare operations, learning key aspects of our work and directly engaging with our clients and beneficiaries.

Leadership Development Through Educare YPP, YPs develop the foundational knowledge to contribute to our on ground operations and competencies to lead team members. Activities range from leadership and professional development workshops to networking, mentorship and conversations with sister organizations and potential partners.

Training on community-sensitive issues By engaging with local communities in India YPs have the opportunity to learn about their cultures and the difficulties faced by them on a day-to-day basis. This brings with itself the opportunity for innovative solutions to these problems.

Compensation and benefits YPs earn a competitive NGO-sector salary and benefits package as part of a 3 to 5 year term contract.
