Mental Health and Wellbeing

Mental health is defined as a state of well-being in which every individual realizes his or her own potential, can cope with the normal stresses of life, can work productively and fruitfully, and is able to make a contribution to her or his community.

The paucity of treatment facilities and psychiatrists in the government as well as private health sector has widened the treatment gap in mental health.

Our NGO is working to play a significant role in not only helping bridge this gap, but also by creating low cost replicable models of care.

We are active in a wide array of areas such as child mental health, special needs, learning disabilities, video games addiction, drug and alcohol abuse, dementia etc. Their activities have included community awareness on mental health issues and advocacy, treatment support, rehabilitation, community care, research, training and capacity building.
