About Botanical Gardens and Biodiversity Parks
To promote biodiversity and nature conservation, EduCARE India NGO has ventured to set up and develop Herbal / Botanical Gardens and/or Biodiversity and Nature Parks in maximum possible rural village Panchayats in the Kangra region.
The Kangra Botanical Garden is being developed as a first model garden, a museum of native flora, an educational institution, and a plant research and conservation facility.
Please note that the road that leads from old Kangra town road to the Botanic Garden is uphill all the way through, and therefore pedestrian access might be unsuitable for visitors with mobility issues or respiratory medical conditions.
